Cristina is a qualified Romanian lawyer, with broad experience gained for more than 10 years in multinational law Firms. She has been part of multi-practice Teams working on the full spectrum of domestic and international transactions and investment projects.

Cristina has extensive experience in M&A, corporate and commercial law, regulatory, public procurement, finance, and real estate matters covering a wide range of industry sectors including energy, automotive, IT&C, retail, pharmaceuticals, industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, or insurance. With a strong background in the power and natural resources industry sectors in connection with the acquisition, construction, and development of energy projects, Cristina has a niche focus on nuclear energy and renewable energy sourced facilities.

She is known for coordinating complex cross-border M&A projects, but she is committed as well to supporting Romanian entrepreneurs in connection with new technologies.

Cristina is a strong and motivated negotiator. She assisted Clients on the full spectrum of transactions, including in relation to pre and post deal negotiations, subsequent day-to-day activities or adjacent investments and restructurings.

  • Cristina started her activity in 2006 with the Bucharest office of Gide Loyrette Nouel, where I was heavily involved in advising top French-based Clients on their investments in Romania.
  • In 2008, she joined the newly opened Bucharest office of White & Case LLP, where she operated for almost 10 years, particularly as an M&A, corporate and commercial lawyer.
  • In 2018, Cristina was part of the management team opening a new structure, D’Ornano Partners, a French law firm with offices in Paris, Budapest, Bucharest, and Belgrade.
  • In November 2020, Cristina and Cristian started GM Legal, which concentrates on the professional and personal experience and capabilities gained since the beginning of their vast career.
